Being just 15 minutes from junction 18 of the M4 motorway, and on the main South Wales to London rail line, Bath is easy to get to.
With so many Hotels, Guest Houses and B & B’s accommodation should be easy to find. With a good bus system and many taxi firms getting about in Bath is no problem.
Whatever your taste in food, Bath has something for almost everyone !! Chinese, Italian, Thai, French, Indian, Lebonese, Burger Bars, Pizza, Greek, Steak Houses and English Restaurants.
Local interest in this years championships has been keen, with players from the Bath, Radstock, Keynsham, Chew Valley and Shepton Mallet Leagues asking about this years event.
This is the first year that The World Shove ha’penny Championships has had a web site, and I’d like to thank Nigel Lavender of Dilton Design for all his efforts and patience in translating my thoughts into what you see here.
